It's all about bringing people into the kingdom of God through bridging the gap between healing and testimony

About Miracle

Miracle is a Michigan native born and raised outside of Detroit MI. Growing up in a Christian family where her father Kenneth Thurman was a minister at Perfecting church and her mother Deanne Thurman was also in ministry at Perfecting church as well. Growing up attending schools like Winans Academy of Performing Arts and Arts Academy in the woods has helped Miracle discover the love and the passion for the arts. As Miracle grew up loving performing arts she then went on to take the Chicago land by faith and force. You may recognize this angelic face on shows such as: Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Empire, and more where her presence owned many of the scenes as an extra. Her name “Miracle” speaks for itself. She’s a firm believer in God. Her faith in God has allowed her to overcome and do “extraordinary” things in life. A overcomer of cutting and burning. Miracle has a message to tell this generation that no matter what people may say about you, you must believe in yourself and be the best you that you can be no matter what. Miracle says that she has the scars to remind her that she is more than a conqueror. With such an innocent face and contagious smile, who would have thought that she was a victim of depression, who would have thought that she battled with insecurities of self esteem. When we asked Miracle how she overcame these struggles. She quoted: I️ overcame my battles through worship but at times I only saw it as just music. I worshipped my way out of my struggles and giants like David did with his battles. David played instruments and she plays the guitar and piano. After losing her father in 2015 it was a promise she made to him that she would be the best she could be. She knew that she needed to continue on the right path. Staying true to her promise and following God’s plan for her life, that’s when she knew that MINISTRY was where she needed to be. God allowed her to see her calling very clearly and she let her passion for God and creative arts come together to minister and make beautiful things. Watching her father and mother in ministry growing up she knew that it ran in her DNA. Ministry has brought her out of some very tough situations. Miracle says that coming up in a Christian home and a school of Performing Arts looking back over a creed that was done daily in school saying, “I’m uniquely talented, willing to learn, love and lead my generation.” She didn’t just decide one day that she wanted to be a leader, she knew that she wanted to change things and once she realized that she was called to lead her generation, she decided to be the change. Get ready world she is getting ready to take on the world through ministry and creative arts.

“I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.”
Psalm 118:17

Stay Miracle Strong is my story of my long journey as I dealt with anxiety, depression, and suicide attempts from 2009-2016. Back in 2009, I spent some time in Harbor Oaks, a place for people who are struggling with suicide. Inside the facility, they watched and medicated me trying to help me “feel better” or “be healed.” While there I spent so many nights crying wanting to get better just to get out of the place because I felt that I “didn’t belong there.” Before I ended up in harbor oaks I would attempt to harm or attempt to kill myself and it never fell through. Leaving me wondering why it wasn’t working.

It wasn’t until I became a patient at Harbor Oaks that I was afraid and scared that something bad would happen to me. I was placed in a room with one other girl who tried to kill me while I was asleep many nights, leaving me afraid to close my eyes and go to sleep in the room. One night I couldn’t fall asleep because I just knew if I closed my eyes I just might not wake up. This was the same night that I heard a voice (which I now know) was God’s voice saying to me “you shall live and not die.” It scared me at first because I had never heard let alone encountered God before on my own until that night. I just remember I gave my life to Christ and from there have always wondered how I could help others through my story. It wasn’t until 2016 where I heard from God again about a way I could continue sharing my story and utilizing mentoring to help others like me who have been through what I experienced and God revealed to me my ministry and what I would be doing to help people as a way of ministering around the states about my story. God gave me a vision and from there I started what I soon named Stay Miracle Strong. Stay Miracle Strong is my story and how I got through. Stay Miracle Strong provides the opportunity for young people who struggle with these three things in their own lives to share their stories as well. I realized very quickly that just talking and sharing my story wasn’t enough but began to utilize my passion for creative arts as a form of a healing ministry to then encourage other young people to do the same through things like music and acting. This is why I have been continuing to bridge the gap between creative arts and ministry. Stay Miracle Strong is my story and here in this ministry, we want to get to know you through your story as well. This is not just a movement but it is a ministry and I love every minute of it because God gets the glory in every soul that is healed from the testimonies of people like me.

Our mission is to Stay on course, see the fulfillment of the Miracle, and to be Strong in our power that bridges the gap between creative arts and ministry to help serve others by bringing their own stories to provide opportunities to discover personal healing and help others find their healing through testimonies.
